Shanghai 1938-Restaurant Review

My daughter and I were in the mood for some Chinese today but wanted to go somewhere with actual seating so we stopped in to Shanghai 1938 at the Village Crossing in Champaign.

Sorry to say we were sorely disappointed.

At the time of our arrival we were the only customers and they still managed to get our order wrong. I asked for steamed rice with my entree and I got fried. We ordered an eggroll for the granddaughter and it came with my steamed rice. Go figure.

The amount of food was skimpy as compared to take out places but honestly it was enough of a serving for me. I also thought it was a little pricey for what it was.

My husband and I had eaten there before and enjoyed it but that was not our experience today.
